Zagster, the leader in providing bike sharing programs for the real estate industry, has partnered with The High Grove to offer bike sharing to residents! Four cruiser-style bikes are available to residents by the hour or the day, giving them a convenient, healthy and fun way to get around the city.
Of the news, Co-founder and CEO of Zagster Timothy Ericson said:
“Increasingly, mixed-use developments are seeking to incorporate innovative transportation options to reduce congestion and increase sustainability. Zagster’s turnkey system, small and flexible footprint, and easy user experience are a great fit for developers seeking to embed bike sharing in their developments.”
The addition of Zagster is one of many High Grove initiatives to enhance sustainability at the property – The High Grove is also the first luxury apartment community in Baton Rouge to be awarded Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (“LEED”) Silver Certification, which recognizes best-in-class green building strategies and practices. The Addison, a neighboring development now underway within “The Grove” planned 118-acre Traditional Neighborhood Development, will also be home to a Zagster bike share location.
Zagster will be available to residents at other properties from The Domain Companies, The High Grove’s developers, including The Paramount at South Market in New Orleans and Eleven33 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Plans to expand the service to other Domain properties later this year are underway, starting with The Addison and The Beacon at South Market in New Orleans.
