The Grove is a Traditional Neighborhood Development (“TND”), located east of the Mall of Louisiana, along I-10, in the heart of Baton Rouge. The TND concept places residences within convenient walking distance of employers, shopping, services and recreational amenities.

The 118-acre Grove TND will emphasize the pedestrian scale of a mixed-use community built in a village center theme. The site is divided into three parcels by two existing creeks and will be linked by vehicular and pedestrian bridges. The TND will include a mix of residential, retail and commercial uses including single-family for-sale housing, luxury rental housing, senior housing, specialty shops and retail outlets, cafes and restaurants, a full-service hotel and a variety of commercial office formats. The creeks will be enhanced on both sides by jogging and

bike paths that will be connected to a Parish-wide network. Over forty-four acres of the site will be dedicated to parks, pathways and lush creek-side landscaping. The abundance of green space and outdoor amenities further separates The Grove from any other mixed-use community in Baton Rouge. The Grove TND is being developed by Carmouche Development, a Baton Rouge-based firm that has developed an impressive resume of TND and Master Planned Communities over the past 27 years.
